چکیده
Abstract Nowadays skin cancers have become a major area of concern because the continuous exposure to sun rays (UV rays). Hence, present work focused on synthesis an innovative 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) microemulsion as topical delivery system mainly used treat various forms cancer. The administration most active compounds is impaired by limited permeability due presence barriers. In this sequence, represents cost-effective and convenient drug carrier that successfully delivers across skin. Unfortunately, 5-FU reveals high toxicity low tumor affinity became inefficient for patients with risk serious side effects. For decreasing eluding some its disadvantages we made it more effective preparing tween 80 (surfactant), isopropyl alcohol (co-surfactant), oleic acid (oil) in four-component system. This study emphasized increasing release multiple times gel has been formulated designs elongate release. All preparation was characterized physicochemical studies. size 550–600 nm confirmed transmission electron microscopy (TEM) Zetasizer. clear prepared at pH 5–6. It shows viscosity limit 13.52–18.23 Pa s. outcome satisfactory cancer treatment.

We report the first successful application of a novel IL-assisted non-aqueous microemulsion stabilized by a blend of two nontoxic surfactants, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (Tween-80), and sorbitan laurate (Span-20) for transdermal delivery of acyclovir, which is insoluble or sparingly soluble in water and most common organic liquids.

The aim of the present study was to prepare and evaluate different formulations of Diclofenac diethylammonium in microemulsion base with a view to enhance its permeability through the skin. Various o/w and w/o microemulsions of Diclofenac diethylammonium were prepared by the spontaneous emulsification methods. Isopropyl myristate was used as oil phase, Polyoxyethylenesorbitan monooleate and Sor...

The objective was to develop a microemulsion formulation for the transdermal delivery of testosterone. Microemulsion formulations were prepared using oleic acid as the oil phase, Tween20 as a surfactant, Transcutol as cosurfactant, and water. The microemulsions were characterized visually, with the polarizing microscope, and by dynamic light scattering. In addition, the pH, conductivity (sigma)...
متن کاملTadalafil Transdermal Drug Delivery Using Microemulsion Formulation in Laboratory Model
Background and purpose: Tadalafil has gained wide clinical acceptance in treatment of erectile dysfunction due to its long treatment window and lower potential for visual impairment. Transdermal drug delivery prevents systemic elimination, drug-drug and food-drug interactions, and reduces side effects by reducing the dose of the drug. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of microemu...
